Action King Hero Arjun, a devotee of lord Anjaneya swamy is now building a temple for his favorite God in Chennai. A huge statue of Anjaneya, measuring about 23 feet was made at the behest of Arjun. Since the hero wanted the statue to be made of a single stone, it took him nearly a year to find such a stone and another four years to have it sculpted.
The Anjaneyar, which is in a seated position, will be the tallest Anjaneyar statue in that position in the world. The idol will be transported to Chennai from Karnataka in a 160-wheeled truck.
